What To Expect
Before The Session
Your therapist will go through your intake form and discuss your expectations for the session. Usually we ask about activities, range of motion and level of pressure. This is the time to be very specific about what bothers you. We take the time to sit and listen, as for you to not feel rushed and to ensure you, the client, feel comfortable and confident that you’re getting exactly what you want. Many clients will also ask how far to undress. The answer is: to your level of comfort. Our clients are NEVER exposed!
During The Massage
We want all of your clients to enjoy their time with us, therefore, we encourage communication if at any point during the treatment you’re uncomfortable.
After Session
Take your time getting up and dressed. It’s not uncommon to feel dizzy or lightheaded immediately after a massage. Directly following your treatment, your therapist will meet you in the waiting area with some water. Sometimes, clients will experience soreness following a massage. This is typical, however, it can sometimes be an indicator that too much pressure was used. Please be sure to mention any adverse affects to your therapist!
We cannot wait to meet you!
Frequently Asked Questions

Q: How far should I get undressed?

A: We like to tell our clients that they’re never exposed while on the table. We use appropriate draping methods to ensure the safety of both client and therapist. With that being said, we recommend removing bras and underpants, as to not get them covered with oil, especially in the case of requested shoulder and hip work!

Q: How early should I arrive to the appointment?

A: We request you print off any documentation from our “forms” section and arrive no more than
5 minutes early to your appointment. Our door is always locked and we try to be considerate to each clients allotted time.

Q: What kind of massages do you offer?

A: We are licensed professionals and offer staples like Swedish Massage and Deep Tissue and Hot Stone, however, each therapist brings a unique skill set to the table. Not every therapist has the same technique nor do they practice all of the same modalities. One might practice Cupping and Neuromuscular while another thrives in Myofascial Release and Thai!
